# Bobby Tables documentation

Bobby Tables is a desktop database client for macOS and Linux. It connects to PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, MySQL, MariaDB, TiDB, Microsoft SQL Server, ClickHouse, Snowflake, SQLite, Google BigQuery and Oracle Database with SQL workspaces, to Redis and Valkey with a native key workspace, to Apache Cassandra and ScyllaDB with a native CQL workspace, and to MongoDB with a native Extended JSON document workspace. Snowflake and BigQuery use cloud APIs, while Oracle uses a separately installed Instant Client. The same window holds a dual-pane file manager for S3-compatible object storage, SFTP servers and local folders. There is no server to run and no account to create, secrets stay in the operating system keychain, and the app sends no telemetry.
