# Bobby Tables

> Bobby Tables is a desktop database client for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB and SQLite, with a dual-pane file manager for S3, SFTP and local folders built in.

Bobby Tables is a desktop database client and SQL GUI for macOS and Linux. It connects to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB and SQLite, browses the catalog, edits rows in a grid with the generated SQL shown before it runs, runs SQL with autocomplete from the live catalog, draws the schema as an entity relationship diagram, and dumps a database to a SQL script the database's own client replays. The same window holds a dual-pane file manager for S3-compatible object storage, SFTP servers and local folders, so a bucket and a database sit in one list of connections. There is no server to run and no account to create, secrets stay in the operating system keychain, and the app sends no telemetry.
