Who you are agreeing with
Bobby Tables is made and sold by Altumo Software, a company in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In these terms, we and us mean Altumo Software, and you means the person or company buying a license or reading this website.
What these terms cover
These terms cover this website and what happens when you buy or renew a license. Using the app itself is the license agreement, and what reaches us is the privacy policy. Buying a license means you accept all three.
The app and the free trial
Bobby Tables is a desktop application you download and run. There is no service to sign up for and no account to create in order to use it. Without a license it runs as a free trial with one saved database connection and one saved file connection.
What a license lifts is on the pricing page. What it grants is in the license agreement.
Price, tax and payment
Prices are the ones shown on the pricing page, charged in US dollars through Stripe. Tax is added where it applies, based on the billing location you give Stripe.
We can change prices at any time. A change never affects a term you have already paid for.
Refunds
Within 14 days of a purchase, reply to your receipt email and we will refund it. Refunding a purchase deactivates the license. Refunding a renewal takes back the year that renewal bought and leaves the rest of the term alone.
Support
Support is by email at licenses@bobbytables.app. We answer as quickly as we can. These terms carry no response time and no support contract.
Your license, your machines and your renewals are yours to manage at bobbytables.app/account, signed in with the address you bought with.
Third parties
Buying, renewing and signing in run through Stripe, Cloudflare and Resend, and each has terms of its own.
The databases, buckets and servers you connect to are yours or your provider's. Nothing here changes your agreement with them.
Using this website
Read it, quote it, link to it, and crawl it. The robots file allows every crawler, including the ones that train models, and that is deliberate rather than an oversight.
What we ask in return is that you do not present this site or the app as your own, and that you do not attack either this site or the licensing service.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Changes apply from the day they are published, and they never change the price or the length of a term you have already paid for.
No warranty
Bobby Tables, this website and the licensing service are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that they are free of defects, that they fit a particular purpose, or that they will run without interruption. Some jurisdictions do not allow parts of that exclusion, and where they do not, it does not apply to you.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit, lost revenue, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim connected to the app, a license or this website is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
